FAQ
Does a tuning change chord shapes?
Lowering all strings equally preserves shapes and lowers their sound. When individual strings move by different amounts, check the affected shapes.
What do octave numbers mean?
The number distinguishes notes with the same name. D2 is an octave below D3. Check the number before increasing string tension.
Do I need microphone access?
Only for pitch detection. The tool also lets you tune by ear and play reference tones without microphone access.
