FAQ
How far below Drop D is Drop B?
Every string is three semitones lower than Drop D. From Standard, string 6 drops five semitones and the others drop three.
Is this B Standard?
No. B Standard keeps Standard intervals. Drop B lowers the sixth string an extra two semitones relative to the other five.
What if the lowest note is hard to detect?
Check B1 against the reference tone, play gently and mute the other strings. Low tension and a weak microphone signal can make readings uncertain; do not tighten by an octave to force a reading.
